Middleton Group is looking for an Engineer — Renewable Energy Services to work in either Sydney or Melbourne. You’ll hold a Bachelor of Engineering with at least two years’ experience and a strong background in renewable energy, ideally across solar, wind, or BESS projects.
In this role, you would lead and deliver technical work across solar, wind, and BESS projects, from early feasibility through to commissioning. You would also support market-facing activities – from scoping to proposals and client engagement – and identify opportunities for innovation, continuous improvement, and commercial growth.

This role requires a technical leader with a primary focus on 22kV electrical design, complemented by experience in low voltage, control system design, earthing, and power systems design.

We are looking for someone to join our growing electrification team. The Senior Electrification Engineer will have extensive knowledge of rail and tramway systems in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand, such as 25kV AC, 1500V DC and 650V DC. Projects vary from feasibility studies and tender designs to detailed design and construction support on multidisciplinary projects.
We are looking for a Senior Earthing Engineer to assist with supporting and growing Middleton Group’s earthing team. The Senior Earthing Engineer is responsible for technical leadership of earthing design and testing projects for the utility, rail, renewable, industrial, defence, and water markets throughout Australasia.
We are looking for a Principal Power Systems Engineer to assist with developing Middleton Group’s Grid Connections team. The Principal Power Systems Engineer is responsible for expert technical leadership of generator and grid connection projects, including power systems modelling studies and analysis for new solar farm, wind farm, BESS and hybrid generator connections throughout Australia.
We are looking for a Senior Power Systems Engineer to assist with developing Middleton Group’s Grid Connections team.
We are looking for a Senior Primary/Structural Design Draftsperson to provide primary/structural design drafting on utility and private substation projects ranging from 3.3kV to 500 kV. Typical design drafting elements include indoor and outdoor switchgear, cable reticulation, prefabricated switch room buildings, and overhead lines.
We seek a full-time Senior Project Manager to lead and successfully deliver multi-disciplinary electrical/sustainable energy focused projects for our fast-growing business. Specific project roles may be focused on project management of internal design teams or supporting our clients with project management services.
